Concurrently, an Alstom-led consortium secured EUR 690 million in contracts for modernizing two crucial railway corridors in Egypt, with Alstom's share at EUR 300 million. In Poland, a long-term plan was announced to build 4,700 km of new railways, including 2,700 km of high-speed lines, and modernize 5,600 km of existing infrastructure, representing a €144 billion investment.
