STORK Cargo has ordered 70 new Eanos freight wagons from Greenbrier Leasing Europe together with Mindener Kreisbahnen.
The four-axle wagons will each have a loading volume of 85 m³ and a maximum payload of 63.5 tonnes. They will be equipped with telematics and approved for international use.
The wagons will be built at Greenbrier’s plant in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania, which produces freight wagons. STORK Cargo said the additional fleet capacity responds to rising transport volumes.
The order also extends STORK Cargo’s cooperation with Mindener Kreisbahnen in rail freight. Mindener Kreisbahnen is involved in the procurement as a project partner.
