JUSDA Europe has opened a new logistics centre in Serbia, investing €1 million in a site intended to serve south-eastern Europe, Turkey and Asian-linked flows.

JUSDA Europe has opened a new distribution centre in Zrenjanin, Serbia, as the Czech-based logistics company expands its footprint in south-eastern Europe.

The site covers 11,000 square metres and represents an investment of €1 million. The company plans to employ up to 150 people at the new operation.

The centre is located in Vojvodina, one of Serbia’s main industrial regions. From there, JUSDA Europe wants to serve customers across the Balkans while also strengthening transport routes towards Turkey and Asia.

The investment reflects wider changes in European supply chains, where manufacturers are increasingly looking at nearshoring and logistics locations closer to end markets. Serbia is positioned between the EU, the Balkans and Turkey, making it relevant for companies seeking more flexible regional distribution.

“Serbia today represents one of the most interesting logistics points in Europe. It combines a strategic location, growing infrastructure and a strong industrial base. For us, it is a key location from which we can efficiently serve the whole region of south-eastern Europe and connected markets,” said Petr Škoda, CEO of JUSDA Europe.

The new centre is designed as an end-to-end logistics hub. Its services include intralogistics management at production sites, inbound and outbound transport, domestic and international distribution, and warehousing for industrial customers.

According to the company, the operation is based on centralised digital management and monitoring of logistics flows.

“Companies today are dealing not only with transport costs, but above all with speed, stability and transparency of the supply chain. Thanks to centralised management and digitalisation, we can optimise transport flows, speed up distribution and significantly increase control over the entire logistics process,” Škoda added.

JUSDA Europe is part of Hon Hai Technology Group and focuses on supply chain management, transport and warehousing for sectors including technology, automotive, retail and industrial production. In addition to road, rail, sea and air transport, the company operates warehouse capacity and tailored logistics solutions.
