Lokomotion Gesellschaft für Schienentraktion mbH has confirmed a change in its management, with founding managing director Armin Riedl stepping down at the end of 2025. Riedl retired from the role on 31 December 2025 after 26 years at the helm of the Munich-based rail freight operator, according to the company.
Ruby van der Sluis has taken over as sole managing director. She had already been jointly managing Lokomotion alongside Riedl since 1 January 2023, following a long tenure as the company’s sales director.
